Every board was perfect.

I love this room; I sit in it every night. It’s where I go to relax. I’ve always wanted the look of a log cabin, so I put an extension on my pole barn. It’s a 15’ x 24’ man cave. It’s like walking into an old log cabin.

I installed it with a friend who is a finish builder. He’s done a lot of it. This was his first time working with WoodHaven products and said it’s the nicest he’s ever seen. 

I used half-log, hand-hewn pine, tongue and groove with no chinking. The ceiling was pre-finished. I used flat-stock pine on all the trim for the doors and windows.

Every board was perfect. Even when I pick out wood at the store, I get home and find it’s bad. There’s no sense in sorting WoodHaven wood; it’s perfect.

When we installed the tongue and groove, everything fit; there was no forcing, twisting or bending.

Randy at WoodHaven had given me some pieces to put up on the wall before I started the project. Then I toured their mill in Mio. Their material is so nice. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was. I thought it would cost twice as much.

Everything WoodHaven did was 100%.
