They really care about their product.

We took an attached garage and made a kitchenette/tv room out of it. We used WoodHaven’s tongue and groove pine paneling on the walls and ceiling and are finishing the laundry/boiler room with it (the walls and ceiling are done). We are doing a half-bath right now; the tongue and groove is ready to go.

They make a quality product. It’s beautiful stuff. It goes in easily. There’s no waste. It’s well-finished. You cut the end of a board and that’s the start of the next piece. It’s easy to work with. You don’t need to land on a joist or a stud.

Everyone at WoodHaven — from the office to the yard — is receptive, easy to work with and so nice. An unassuming man found me in the yard at the WoodHaven mill in Mio and we talked for a half hour. I asked him how long he’d been working there, and he told me he owned the place!

They really care about their product. We noticed how nicely packaged and protected our wood was. We ordered pre-finished wood in several sizes and staggered it as we installed it; the stain is consistent.

We plan to do more projects and get back to WoodHaven.
