WoodHaven is worth every penny.

I shopped around. My half-log home would have been double or just over double the cost if I had gone through a full-log contractor. People definitely think it’s a full-log home until I show them around. A competitor of WoodHaven that sells full-log homes has great stuff on their home page. You can’t tell the difference between my home and one they showcase — and it’s a million-dollar home. The favorite aspect of my WoodHaven project is the exterior. I went with 2”x10” hewn with full-square log corners. Ninety eight percent of the interior is all WoodHaven — even the ceilings. One of the main focal points is the staircase; it’s all custom cut.

As far as milling and imperfections, I might have had one or two … maybe one percent. Their boards go through a lot of peoples’ hands. I can’t believe the finish on the flat boards. We did natural pine, pre-finished. I had to order other trim; you can’t match the quality of their finish.

When people go with wood, they’ll spend money where it matters. WoodHaven is worth every penny.
