Don’t be afraid to run anything by us. In the past couple of decades we’ve gone from being a manufacturer with a few major buyers to a custom, hands-on, customer-based business.
We evolved because customers asked for our high-quality wood paneling and log siding, then our FatBoy Log Siding (now trademarked), and eventually got us thinking about what else we could do.
Our customers are innovative and so are we. That’s why lots of our new ideas actually are customer-driven. We continue to progress with new products and new ideas, like our custom-made Adirondack siding and Barn wood siding.
The Barn wood siding has been fun to perfect. We distressed it and tested it until we came up with a product that is tongue-and-groove on all four sides (which virtually eliminates waste) and takes any stain so beautifully that nobody ever needs to know you paid less than half than what you would have for reclaimed barn wood.
We love wood and like doing it right. Most of the time our customers are creating something that’s a one-time investment: a log home, a log cabin, a room in their house, or a custom staircase. We love helping them figure out the details — because they usually have an idea or a vision for what they want.

Our custom log stairways, railings and custom mantles are popular throughout the year, but seeing one fully decorated during the Christmas holiday season is all it takes for someone that’s been thinking about one to give us a call so they’re ready to have one of their own decorated to wow their guests next year.
We love it when people call us with an idea. If you have one, call us and we’ll ship you a sample of any wood you are considering buying from us. Better yet, come and see it. We’ll give you a tour, show you how we make it and help you create something that will be exactly what you envisioned — or better.
If someone you know might want a wood product that is created with the care it deserves, please share this post!
