Why Adirondack is back

People are loving Adirondack inside and out. It has a rustic yet contemporary look.

Formerly reserved for those unique chairs originally made in upstate New York, Adirondack wood siding products are adding something distinctive to homes and cabins across the country.

It’s reminiscent of Laura’s Little House on the Prairie. The look is not full-log. It’s not a round log style; it’s flat. When it’s installed with dovetail corners and chinking, it has a genuine settler/homestead look.

It’s becoming more popular in subdivisions because it looks great with brick or stone. Some people are installing it horizontally, while others are choosing to put it up vertically. Adirondack is the latest alternative to vinyl, aluminum, or cedar lap on either a new build or an existing home.

It’s hot on a bar in the basement, a special wall somewhere, or an entirely new exterior. Our Adirondack siding is made, as always, with our high-quality, custom craftsmanship.

We make our Adirondack siding with three different textures:

smooth
hand-hewn
and rough-sawn

And three corner options:

square
butt-n-pass
dovetail

Adirondack has a square, unique style. It’s flat, not round. It’s kiln dried, tongue-and-groove, and end matched.

Customers are going Adirondack-style with all of our woods: white pine, and cedar for exterior wood projects— and red pine is making the list for interior jobs.

Some are buying it unstained, and going with their own color or shade. It takes stain beautifully. Anybody could easily stain it.
