The logs we use have been steeled by winds blowing off the Great Lakes, wicked-cold temperatures, clear rain and sweltering summers. They wait dozens of years to be transformed into perfect products via our secret recipe: the more dry the better.

We welcome small groups so if you have a family member with a flair for wood, please stop in so we can meet you. Custom wood projects are our specialty so anyone with an appreciation for the craft will love to see—and smell—what we do every day.

Creating stunning log homes, rooms, decks, fireplaces, stairways, trim and cabinets isn’t something we just do; it’s our passion.

We have longtime employees with decades of combined experience, and we take on summer employees that learn how WoodHaven Log and Lumber material is processed, what it takes, and what they might want to do for a career—or not.

Winter hours are:  December 1 through March 1
