Doing business from a distance can be unnerving — especially when you’re investing a good chunk of change on something as important as building materials for the interior or exterior of your log home or cabin.

We regularly ship full-house packages to our customers out of state. We just shipped a couple to Pennsylvania and Illinois. When done, those will be WoodHaven log homes.

We don’t meet many of our customers face to face. After visiting our website, examining samples we ship, and having a conversation with us, many have enough confidence to send us $15,000 to $18,000 as half down on projects.

Why do customers trust us so much? They say quality photos, detailed descriptions, the easy read, and the rich, warm feel of our website draws them in. They often request a sample of our paneling or siding or both. A phone call puts them at ease. We’ve been providing high-end service from a distance for a long time.

Most people don’t believe me when I say I’m not in this business to make millions of dollars; I want millions of happy people. Taking care of customers and creating quality products keeps my integrity intact.

“Profit” is not a bad word. Profit allows WoodHaven to stay in business so we can focus on product quality and customers. If we were in it solely for the money, we’d cut corners. We just don’t do that.

We’re a manufacturer of high-quality wood products. We actually make our products. We’re not a reseller.

If someone wants to see a sample, we go out to the mill, cut them a fresh piece and send it to them. Talk is cheap, but when we send that sample, it solidifies what we’ve told them.
